Terms, Conditions & Studio Etiquette

Effective Date: October 2025

Welcome to Hot Bello — we’re so glad you’re here. Our goal is to create a space that’s warm, safe, and full of good energy (and yes, a little sweat). By booking or attending a class, you agree to the following terms. They help us keep things running smoothly, fairly, and safely for everyone.

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

Hot Bello classes involve movement, stretching, balance, and heat. By participating, you understand and accept that these activities carry inherent risks — including but not limited to dehydration, dizziness, fainting, muscle strain, or heat-related illness.

You acknowledge that you’re joining voluntarily, at your own risk, and take full responsibility for your health and wellbeing while practising.

We trust you to listen to your body, modify postures when needed, and rest if you feel unwell. If you ever feel unsure, talk to your teacher — we’re here to help.

2. Release of Liability

By participating in classes at Hot Bello, you release, waive, and discharge Hot Bello, its owners, instructors, and affiliates from any and all claims for injury, illness, or property damage that may occur before, during, or after class — except in the case of gross negligence or unlawful conduct.

3. Health & Medical

We want you to feel your best, not push beyond your limits.

  • Stay hydrated before and after class.

  • Modify or rest when you need to.

  • If you feel unwell or unsafe at any point, stop and seek assistance.

Heated classes are not suitable for women trying to conceive or in their first trimester of pregnancy. Please check with your healthcare provider before participating if you are pregnant, postpartum, or have a medical condition.

We love having kids in the studio! However, due to sweat gland development and heat tolerance, we recommend children under 16 participate for half the time in heated classes. Kids under 12 must be supervised by an adult.

4. Studio Etiquette

Our studio is a shared space for presence, peace, and a little play. Please follow these simple guidelines:

Firm Rules

  • Arrive on time — late arrivals may not be admitted once class begins.

  • Phones silent and left away from your mat (unless emergency use is needed).

  • Shoes and belongings stay in the foyer.

  • Quiet time — after some classes, we’ll invite you to leave silently so others can rest longer.

  • Go easy on perfumes or essential oils.

  • Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be admitted to class.

Hot Bello Recommends

  • Bring your mat, towel, and water (or hire them here).

  • Wear comfy, breathable clothes you don’t mind sweating in.

  • Bring an open mind — every class feels different.

5. Heat Levels

We live up to the name. Our classes are heated using 6 infrared panels, with the following temperature ranges:

  • Bikram Yoga (90 mins): 38–40°C

  • Pilates (60 mins): 28–30°C

  • Vinyasa (60 mins): 28–30°C

  • Yin Yoga (60 mins): 25–28°C

6. Booking & Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before your class.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows result in forfeiture of that class credit or pass.

  • Passes and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

We know life happens — if you’re unwell, just reach out.

7. Memberships

  • Memberships can be paused (frozen) for a minimum of 2 weeks and for a maximum of 8 weeks

with at least 14 days’ notice via email.

  • Memberships can be cancelled at any time with at least 14 days’ written notice via email.

  • Memberships cannot be backdated, refunded, or transferred.

8. Consent to Communication

By booking, you agree to receive booking confirmations, reminders, and updates related to your classes or memberships. We won’t spam you — just keep you in the loop about things you actually care about.

9. Respect & Inclusivity

Hot Bello is for everyone. We welcome all bodies, backgrounds, and experience levels. Respect for yourself and others is non-negotiable. This is a judgment-free, inclusive, and supportive space — so please treat yourself and your fellow humans with kindness.

10. Prep for Your First Class

We love first-timers. Here’s how to keep your cool while it gets hot:

  • Stay hydrated throughout the day.

  • Eat light — a nourishing meal or snack at least 2 hours before class.

  • Bring your essentials — mat, towel, water (or hire in-studio).

  • Dress for movement and sweat.

  • Arrive 10 minutes early to settle in and connect with your teacher.

  • Let your teacher know about any injuries or support you need.

  • Skip heavy lotions or perfumes before class — your future self (and neighbour) will thank you.

11. Final Agreement

By attending or booking a class at Hot Bello, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions, including the acknowledgment of risk and release of liability.
